At an auction in Scotland today, a Texel Sheep sold for a whopping R8 million. This breed of sheep is known for its high price tag. The sheep was bought by three farmers who are hoping to recover their money (and make some profit) by breeding with their newly purchased sheep, Double Diamond. Apparently, this is the most a single sheep has ever sold for in the world.
