WHO has released a guideline on how children should wear masks

They suggest that children under 5 should not be required to wear a mask.

The WHO has released a guideline for when children ought to wear face masks. For the past few months, there has been much controversy regarding this topic. In the guideline, the WHO suggests that children under the age of 5 should not wear face masks, as this goes against their psychosocial needs. Children between that age of 5 and 11 should only wear masks when certain criteria is met, like local infection rates. Kids over the age of 12 ought to wear masks as per the same rules as adults, the WHO said.
