The feature will be available this month still

This month, WhatsApp is set to release a new disappearing messages feature. With this function, you can send a message with a self-destruct feature. You can set conversations with friends or groups to be deleted automatically after seven days. Although all messages set to disappear will be gone after seven days, users can still screenshot or just copy messages if they want to save it somewhere more permanently.
