They’re built for heavy duty work and will be sold in Europe.

Volvo has announced a brand-new line of electric heavy duty trucks. These trucks will go on sale in Europe next year and be produced the year thereafter. The trucks may have a range of up to 300km on one charge and a gross combined weight rating of about 48.5 tons. Volvo has previously developed electric working vehicles, mainly used for municipal services in cities. This new line will be their first proper heavy duty range that ditch traditional fuel.
