The World Travel and Tourism Council’s stamp certifies an attractions readiness to combat viral outbreaks.
The V&A Waterfront has become the first attraction in South Africa to adopt the World Travel and Tourism Council’s (WTTC) Safe Travels stamp, which is specifically designed to address Covid-19 and similar outbreaks. The stamp is the first global certification in the world. The V&A is now part of an exclusive list of 80 travel destinations to boast this certification. In a nutshell, it means that the destinations have taken advanced measures to combat the outbreak of viral infections at the destinations.
