Experts, however, still don’t think pets can infect humans.

Two cats, one in Belgium and the other in China, have tested positive for the coronavirus. New research suggests that cats could spread the virus among other felines. Experts have said, however, that it is unlikely that pets will be able to transmit the virus to humans. They also confirmed that dogs aren’t susceptible to the virus. The cats apparently got the virus from their human owners, meaning the virus can transmit from humans to certain animals.
