This feature allows you to attach a voice note to your tweets.
Twitter is rolling out a new feature that will allow users to attach short voice clips to their tweets. Yesterday, the new feature was released to selected users on iOS devices. According to Twitter, they recognise the fact that 280 characters isn’t always enough to say what you want. That’s why they hope this new feature will help people to meaningfully express themselves online. Each voice recording is limited to 140 seconds, but if you go over this limit, a new recording will automatically start and be added to the original thread. Voice notes cannot be posted on their own, though. One needs to attach them to new written tweets or use them in replies to other tweets.
