The visionary behind Truth Coffee, one of the most iconic coffee spots in Cape Town, has launched a new venture – a chocolate brand! Minimalist Chocolate is made using just two ingredients, cocoa and milk. It does not have any sugar added, but it won’t give you that bitter taste natural chocolate usually has.

According to David Donde, the secret to his new chocolate-making success is the roasting process of the cacao beans – similar to the success of his coffee business. Currently, he is looking to release the chocolates in the US and UK markets.
