Over the weekend, Donald Trump was finally seen in public wearing a face mask. He wore the mask at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre, which he visited to address troops. In an interview with Fox News, he said that he decided to wear the mask to not spread any germs to the soldiers. Trump has been vocal about not wearing a mask, at some point having even mocked those who choose to wear them on Twitter. Research has shown that the practice can help prevent transmission of the coronavirus by blocking respiratory droplets.
