Three police stations in the Western Cape close after officers test positive for COVID-19.

The stations were closed for 48 hours for decontamination. Operations were moved to other buildings

Over the course of the weekend, the Lentegeur, Phillipi and Cape Town Central police stations were closed down due to officers at these locations testing positive for the coronavirus. The stations were closed for 48 hours. During this period, the SAPS stations were decontaminated by hygiene crews. According to the police spokesperson, all operations at the affected areas were moved to alternative buildings during this time.
