They have issued recommendations that they urge people to follow, but it will mainly be back to normal for them.
Last night, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Borris Johnson, addressed the country to announce that from 19 July, all COVID-19 related regulations will be lifted. This comes after the country has just about completed its vaccination drive. They have issued several recommendations that people are urged to follow, like that they should continue to wear masks in crowded areas. These are, however, not enforceable laws and citizens are free to either follow or ignore them. Experts in the UK did warn that a so-called “exit wave” of infections is to be expected, so it would be better if people eased out of the restrictions slowly instead of dropping everything all at once.
