On the fourth day of the libel trial between Johnny Depp and his former wife, Amber Heard, a series of photos of Johnny Depp with apparent cuts and bruises to his face were shown to the court.

According to Court TV, which is broadcasting the trial live from the Fairfax County District Courthouse in Virginia, Depp is expected to testify on Tuesday.

Depp’s security guard Sean Bett, who told the jury he insisted on taking the images “as proof in case Ms Heard tried to make charges against Depp,” took the photos on his phone and shared them with the court.

Mr Bett testified that while he never witnessed any physical violence between Depp and Heard, he did witness Depp’s injuries on multiple occasions. The photographs presented before the court were taken in March and December of 2015.

Mr Bett also mentioned Depp’s infamous March 2015 trip to Australia, during which an incident injured the tip of his finger, necessitating a skin graft and a surgery to insert two pins to close the wound.

According to Depp’s side, the actor’s hand was hurt when Heard hurled a vodka bottle at him, while Heard’s team claims the actor injured his own hand while bashing a phone against the wall.

The following are some of the major takeaways from the fourth day of testimony:

• ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), bipolar disorder, substance abuse, and chronic Reflux were among the diseases cited by Depp’s private doctor.
• Heard has been described as “especially sensitive” to Depp’s behavior due to her upbringing in a home where substance misuse was prevalent.
• The court was informed that a chef noticed the tip of Depp’s finger “in the cooking area” during a discussion about an alleged altercation in Australia in 2015.
• Depp’s former nurse also claims she assisted in the search for Depp’s finger, calling the house “a mess.”
• According to reports, Depp was subjected to a lot of “unwanted stress” as a result of his “toxic” relationship with Heard.

The Australian Event

Evidence about the alleged Australian occurrence – which was depicted as “a three-day hostage circumstance” by Heard amid the London slander trial of 2020 – was given by both Depp’s private doctor, Specialist Kipper, and his previous private nurse, Debbie Lloyd, 

Heard alleges that amid this time Depp both physically and sexually manhandled her – claims Depp emphatically denies. Depp’s private doctor, Specialist Kipper, told the court he had been in Australia at the time of the affirmed occurrence, seeing “blood” and “glass” within the house and taking Depp to the clinic for crisis treatment after at first treating the wound. During his evidence, the specialist also recorded his diagnoses of Depp which included ADHD (consideration shortfall hyperactivity clutter), bipolar clutter, discouragement, sleep deprivation, substance reliance and persistent reflux. 

Afterward within the day’s session, Depp’s previous private nurture Debbie Lloyd too depicted the scene, saying she too had made an attempt to seek for the actor’s fingertip, and depicting the house as “a mess” with “writing on the wall and a crushed tv set”.
