The fire started yesterday and caused damage to property and cars.

On Sunday, 15 March, a fire broke out on the side of Tafelberg Road. Several structures and cars were destroyed in the fire that is still blazing on the slopes of Table Mountain this morning. Several roads have been closed in Cape Town, seeing as the fire has affected them. Most of these roads are situated around Kloof Nek. Firefighters are not sure when they will have the fire under control but continue to battle the flames as best they can.
