The Nike Space Hippie sneaker was designed with one goal in mind: to be labeled as one of the most sustainably created shoes yet. In fact, the shoe is made from 85 – 90% recycled material. No wasteful processes, like colouring was done on it as well, which leads to its unique space greyish look. It is all natural! Seeing as the yarn is made from recycled trash, it is ultra stretchable and soft, unlike other yarn that has been synthetically produced. each of the Space Hippie models are supported by a ZoomX insole made entirely from ZoomX scrap waste. The shoes will be available from 1 June and will cost about R3 000.
