Nike is stepping into the future with a new slip-on sneaker – the first of its kind made by this manufacturer. Named the Nike GO FlyEase, it is designed to make putting on and taking off your sneakers a quick and easy process. The shoes are built around a bi-stable hinge, according to a press release from the company, which “enables the shoe to be secure in fully open and fully closed states.”
The new sneakers are set to drop on 15 February and will cost about R2 000. Only selected Nike customers will be the first to get their hands on them, but the company did indicate it wil roll them out internationally very soon.
