Slack is being used by many companies globally as the main method of internal communication between employees. Slack’s mission has been to replace email from the outset. Now, they have announced that Slack Connect is being rolled out to selected paid users and it will further their goal of replacing emails entirely. Slack Connect is based on the idea of shared channels that let companies collaborate, allowing up to 20 organizations to work seamlessly together with apps, chat, and more. In parts of Europe, like the UK, big organisations like Nando’s has been piloting Slack Connect with some of their service providers, like their delivery company and has said that they’ve seen a significant improvement in efficiency after switching over to Slack Connect.
