On Valentine’s Day this year, local artist Shekhinah dropped a new song called ‘Fixate’. It forms part of her second studio album dubbed ‘Trouble in Paradise’. Now, she has also released a short film alongside the track. The short film explores themes such as resilience, nostalgia and rebirth – much of the same themes as in the new album. Shekhinah wrote, performed and narrated the short film, while Monde Gumede was appointed as the director. Check out the clip below
