National SAPS spokesperson Brigadier Vishnu Naidoo has warned pub owners that they will face serious consequences if their establishments do not follow the lockdown rules. This comes after several incidents across South Africa where people have been partying at bars, without masks and with no regard for social distancing. Naidoo said people needed to remember that the government might have eased the lockdown, but the coronavirus was still a reality and continuing to spread.
