PS5 stock sells out in just 15 minutes in SA

January 7, 2021

Sony is still struggling to meet the global demand for the new console.

On January 5, Koodoo, the official resellers of PlayStation Consoles in South Africa posted on their social media accounts that they have received stock of the PS5. This was a highly-anticipated second drop of the consoles in the country. It took gamers just 15 minutes to buy all the available stock Koodoo received. Globally, Sony is struggling to meet the high demand for the new consoles. If you really want a PS5 without having to wait for a vague timeline, there is a bundle offer available on Takealot that includes the disk-version PlayStation 5, one DualSense controller and a copy of the launch title Demon’s Souls for R13,400.
