Pop Smoke’s New Album, “Faith” is here

July 16, 2021

It features contributions from Kid Cudi, Pharrell, Future, Bizzy Banks, and others.

Today, the Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke’s second posthumous album was released. “Faith” features contributions from music heavyweights, like Kid Cudi, Pharrel, Future, Bizzy Banks and more.

Pop Smoke was just 20 years old when he was killed in February 2020 at his house in Hollywood Hills. His first posthumous LP “Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon” was released later that year. The album was executive produced by 50 Cent and featured Future, DaBaby, Lil Baby, Quavo, Swae Lee, Roddy Ricch, and more.

The new album has been called a sentimental look at what the rapper’s career could have been, had his tragic death not occured.

A total of 20 tracks feature on this album and the collaborators did their best to honour the legacy of Pop Smoke’s contemporary drill sounds. The album is split into two parts. The first half pays tribute to his well-established musical style, while the second part focuses on the development of his music during the final year of his life.
