Pick n Pay has announced that it is offering a drive-thru service at selected branches during the nationwide lockdown. They are doing this to avoid people congregating in store and to limit physical contact. Customers can place their orders via email and they will be notified when their orders are ready for collection. They’ll then have to park in front of the store and wait for a staff member to bring out their goods and load it into their cars. Pick n Pay highlighted the fact that only essential goods can be purchased during this time.
