The use of plastic has, according to reports, peaked during the coronavirus pandemic for some or other reason. In a bid to counter this, Jun Aizaki came up with a way of growing gourds in vessels, which are dried and then form reusable cups or flasks. The project is registering on Kickstarter, where they will hopefully raise enough funding to produce even more of these sustainable cups. Aizaki is sharing his process and clever creations on his Instagram account regularly.
