On Saturday, a man who refused to wear his face mask onboard a FlySafair was removed by the police. FlySafair has a zero-tolerance policy on non-compliance of COVID-19 regulations. According to the airline, the crew and attendants asked the passenger several times to put on his mask. He refused and the cabin crew had no choice but to phone SAPS to have him removed with force. Under national law, people are required to wear a mask when in public spaces.
