The researchers found that the virus can live the longest on stainless steel. Properly disinfecting surfaces at your home or office can, however, kill COVID-19 before it has time to spread. They said that cleaning surfaces thoroughly with an alcohol-based cleaner and hot water is the best way to combat the virus.
