Quibi, derived from “Quick Bite” is taking video streaming to a whole new level. The new app aims to produce original shows that consist of short 10-minute chapters or episodes. The app will only function on mobile devices and content won’t be streamable to bigger screens, like smart TV’s. Some of Hollywood’s biggest names like Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise will be producing content for the new platform. It already has millions of dollars worth of funding and experts say it will revolutionise the way in which viewers enjoy content.
