The fast-food delivery service will be delivering essentials goods, like snacks, store-bought food and non-alcoholic drinks during lockdown.

Mr D announced that is has begun rolling out updates to users to a new version of their delivery app that will allow people to order essential goods. Mr D will now be able to deliver store-bought food items and snacks to peoples’ homes. They also said that all deliveries will be contactless, to protect their drivers and to promote social distancing. As a result, users will not be able to pay with cash during the lockdown period. Only certain areas have the new version of the app, but the company said it is expanding the new operations quickly.
