Apparently, they are able to still produce ample amounts of Marmite, despite a global brewer’s yeast shortage

Earlier this week, news surfaced that the United Kingdom ran out of Marmite. This is due to a global shortage of brewer’s yeast – an essential ingredient used in the produce Marmite. Pioneers Food, who produce Marmite in South Africa, confirmed that there is no reason to panic as they are still able to produce enough supplies of Marmite in the country. They took to Instagram to announce that there is no #Marmageddon in the country yet.
