Local ISP will make fibre speed upgrades permanent

April 8, 2021

Axxess says it will perform the upgrades in a phased approach during May.

The local ISP, Axxess, has upgraded their users’ fibre connection, doubling their speed as part of a recent promotion. Now, they have announced that they will make these upgrades permanent, without any additional cost to users. In a statement, they said that clients with 20Mbps, 50Mbps and 100Mbps speeds will be upgraded to 50Mbps, 100Mbps or 200Mbps, respectively. Users already on the top-end speeds will stay on those packages, but they might get a better rate. All of the upgrades will be rolled out during a phased approach in May.
