Sindiso Khumalo bagged the Independent Designer of the Year award!

The Green Carpet Fashion Awards has been hailed as the Oscars of sustainable fashion. Each year, they host a major awards ceremony to celebrate the work being done globally to produce sustainable fashion. This year, it was held virtually and broadcast live on YouTube. South Africa’s own Sindiso Khumalo won one of the most sought-after awards of the evening – the title of Independent Designer of Year! She is based in Cape Town and recently held a fashion show for her Spring 2021 collection.
