LinkedIn has now made it possible for users to add audio clips to their profiles so people know how to pronounce their names

The platform allows for 10 seconds worth of audio to be uploaded for this purpose.

LinkedIn has added a new feature to its user profiles: the option to record 10-second audio clips to let others know how to pronounce your name. The audio clip can only be uploaded through the LinkedIn mobile app on iOS and Android, however, playback is available on mobile and desktop versions of the platform. LinkedIn says that they added this feature, because pronouncing someone’s name the correct way is part of what being a professional person is all about, and the platform aims to promote professional business conduct among business people. This feature will be fully rolled out to all 690 million users by end of July.
