She released the artwork on social media this week.

Halsey’s upcoming album, “If I can’t have love, I want power” celebrates pregnant and postpartum bodies. This is what the artist said when she dropped the artwork for this album on social media this week.

The album cover shows Halsey sitting on a throne with her breast exposed and a baby on her lap.

“This album is a concept album about the joys and horrors of pregnancy and childbirth. It was very important to me that the cover art conveyed the sentiment of my journey over the past few months,” Halsey said.

“My body has belonged to the world in many different ways the past few years, and this image is my means of reclaiming my autonomy and establishing my pride and strength as a life force for my human being,” she added.

She explained that she wanted to use the album to make the world view pregnancy as something beautiful that must be admired. In particular, she wants to try and erase the stigma that exists around pregnant bodies and breastfeeding.

So far, her post announcing the artwork has received nearly 5 million likes and it seems as if the cover has been very well received by Halsey’s fans all over the world.
