Google has announced that it will abandon its Stadia Games & Entertainment venture. The project was meant to develop exclusive, high-level games that would have been available only on Google gaming platform, Google Stadia. In a statement, the tech giant said it decided to stop the SG&E project so that its team can focus solely on platforms and technology. Leading the gaming studio was Jade Raymond, who helped create the “Assassin’s Creed” franchise. Google said the employees working on the SG&E project would be deployed into other projects. Raymond has, however, decided to leave Google after their announcement in search of other opportunities.
