Africa’s biggest server farm is being planned for development in Ekurhuleni. The building will come to 16,000m2 and cost about R4 million to construct. This data centre will be three times bigger than the current record-holding data farm in South Africa. The farm will be owned by Teraco. Teraco has five other data centres in South Africa, and provides cloud services for Amazon, Google and Microsoft’s Azure.
