The new building will be home to Deloitte.

A new office building in the V&A Waterfront that will be home to Deloitte, is being built with ecobricks. The bricks comprise out of two-litre water soft drink bottles filled with waste like wrappers, chip packs and shopping bags. The building is said to make use of about 12 000 ecobricks and will save almost 57 tonnes of concrete. The building is said to be completed by the end of the year. This will be the first commercial building in South Africa to use ecobrick technology.
