The Durban International Film Festival will, like many other major events in South Africa, be held virtually in September this year. The digital DIFF will take place from 10 – 20 September 2020 and will showcase 50 selected films, with the international nature of the festival balanced with a highlighted component of the finest of African cinema. DIFF is viewed as the most prestigious platform for African films to be discovered and as such, patrons are usually very excited when film season kicks off. Audiences will be able to purchase tickets and stream the selection of movies from home.
