Durban factory owner caught locking employees in factory to produce facemasks.

The owner has been arrested for inhumane working conditions.

A Durban-based factory owner has been arrested after it came to light that he has been forcing 14 of his employees to work overtime and live in his factory to produce facemasks. Facemasks are in high demand due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in South Africa. Apparently, the man locked these employees inside the factory to stop them from having any chance of leaving.
