Discord has become a popular communication tool, especially among gamers. Discord has been approached by buyers in the past, but this source says they have now signed an exclusive acquisition discussion agreement. This usually signals that the end of negotiations is near and that a deal will be closed soon. Others have reported, though, that Discord rather wants to go public instead of being purchased.
