Factions in the ANC are calling for the President to stop down.

Cyril Ramaphosa has been anything but popular among certain factions of the ANC, especially when it comes to how he prefers to deal with corruption. The president has since appeared from an ANC NEC meeting, apparently in a stronger position than before he entered it. Later today, it is expected that the party will give more details as to what was discussed during the gathering of ANC top executives. Before the meetings, it was rumoured that some members of the ANC called for Ramaphosa to step down.
