Various publications are reporting that president Cyril Ramaphosa is set to address the nation early this week, with some speculating he could be hosting a family meeting at 20:00 tonight already. During the past week, South Africa has heard rumours of a possible level 2 lockdown over the Easter weekend. Experts have warned that Easter festivities could be the start of a devastating third wave in the country. Level 2 would see a stricter curfew, harder measures on the sale of alcohol and limit the amount of people at gatherings. Level 2 probably won’t see any travel restrictions, though. The long weekend start this Friday and lasts until the following Monday.
