Charlize Theron can be seen in the lead role of a new Netflix movie called “The Old Guard”. The film is based on the comic book by Greg Rucka and was made with a budget of just over $70 million. In the film, Theron is the unofficial leader of a small group of seemingly immortal mercenaries. The group soon discovers that someone is onto their secret, and they must fight to protect their freedom. The movie has been met with mixed reviews, many claiming that the action scenes were not engaging enough. However, the film is definitely set for a sequel and insiders have hinted at a follow-up film which is already being planned.
