Apple launches Macs that feature their own chips

Apple has launched a new range of Macs that feature their very own processing chips, the M1. This comes after Apple ditched Intel, who was the main supplier of Apple devices for years. Apple isn’t the first to launch laptops based on mobile chip designs. But such laptops are usually designed for lightweight tasks, not heavy-duty computing tasks like video editing or coding. Apple maintains that their chips are true workhorses and reliable.
