An art gallery in Paris is keeping people apart with extension hats

The winged rings of the hats keep people at least 1.5m from each other.

Reuters has reported that an art gallery in Paris has come up with an ingenious idea to keep people apart as they view art inside the building. They are using “extension hats” to make sure people keep their distance. These hats have winged rings that are long enough to make sure people physically can’t come within 1.5m of each other. This is of course in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19 and to promote social distancing. According to the gallery, what inspired them is ancient China, where people also wore these kinds of hats with long, winged edges.
